Movie Premiere
What if a class could write, film, and premiere their own movie?
We want to help children devise, cast, and film their very own movie, then hold a real premiere at a local cinema - complete with red carpet and popcorn. The whole community is invited.
About the Project
One week. That's all it takes. Children will write the script, design the sets, perform in front of the camera, and see the whole thing come together as a finished film. Then comes the big night — a genuine premiere screening at a local cinema or film venue, with their families and community in the audience.
This isn't about producing a perfect film. It's about giving children the experience of collaborating under pressure, making creative decisions, and seeing something through from a blank page to a packed screening room.
Unique
Children experience filmmaking and then see their work on a real cinema screen.
Inspiring
Walking a red carpet to the premiere of a film you helped make, with your family in the audience.
